CFB died in Colombo and was buried there. They had five children (Charles Stanley, our grandpa), Eudora Adeline Mary, Muriel, William & a baby who died at 11 months.
5. Mary Isabel (1852-1868)
6. Lucy Catherine (1853-1893) m. Thomas A. Wylie
Lucy died in Ceylon and was buried in Colombo.
7. Arthur Belgrave (1854-1945)
8. + 9. John & Percy Newlyn (Twins) b. 1855. John died in Canada (1917)
9. Percy (worked at Royal Botanical Gardens, Kandy, and is buried in Kandy)
10. Alice (1857-1921) m. William Morton Smith

Hello,
I stumbled across your blog. Charles Joseph Braine and Eudora Marriott are my great great grandparents and Arthur Belgrave Braine is my great grandfather. Arthur emigrated to Australia in the mid-1880's and became a teacher and botanist. I was wondering if you happened to have any photographs of Arthur as unfortunately I have been unable to locate any.
